Description
The Auremont Bamboo Woven Desk Lamp puts a handwoven bamboo shade on a desk lamp body, which is unusual: desk lamps are almost always metal or plastic because they are treated as equipment rather than furniture. This one is treated as furniture.
The weave throws a lattice of light and shadow across the desk around it as well as onto the work surface, so the lamp decorates the space it lights. That is a poor property in an office and a good one in a bedroom, a study nook or a corner of a living room.
USB power means it runs from a laptop, a power bank or a wall adapter, so it needs no socket in exactly the right place. Bamboo is handwoven, so weave and tone vary between pieces. Keep it dry and dust the shade with a soft brush.
- Product type: USB desk lamp

- Power: USB powered

- Care: Keep dry, dust with a soft brush
- Note: Weave and tone vary between pieces

Frequently Asked Questions
Is it bright enough to work by?
It lights a work surface comfortably while also casting a woven pattern around it, which suits a study nook or a home desk more than an office.
What powers it?
A USB lead, so a laptop, power bank or wall adapter all work and no mains socket is needed at the desk.
Is every shade the same?
The weave varies slightly, as handwoven bamboo does, so the pattern it casts belongs to your lamp.
Where does it work best?
A bedroom desk, a study nook or a corner of a living room, where the shadow pattern is welcome rather than distracting.
How do I care for the bamboo?
Dust the weave with a soft brush and keep it dry. That is all it needs to hold its tone.
